The signing session at the Sheffield Forbidden Planet should start at 5pm. We had to wait outside the shop for the signing. The queue started
to form around 4pm. And I can tell you it was… in german I would say "Arschkalt"… I guess you can explain that with "Fucking Cold". At 5pm there was still no sign of Bruce… and someone from the shop came outside and told us
that Bruce still isn’t here so we could go into the shop for a few minutes to get warm again.. but no one wanted to give up the place in the queue. Bruce arrived around 5:20pm and the signing session started at 5:30pm.
We were led into the Forbidden Planet in groups of 10 people. When it was our turn Kirsty went to the queue in front the signing table while I was buying a pic for Bruce to sign and I stayed in the back of the queue and just
gave Kirsty the Pic so she could let him sign it. Then I just heard Brian say something like : another Tactic… they have splitted up…. Double Team… I was too far away to understand it fully. While I was waiting in the
back of the queue I asked Brian if there is any Fan meeting planned beside the signing sessions. He denied that and told me that at the signing in Norwich is the only one where you’re able to ask questions… We already had heard
about that Norwich thing and had already bought 2 books so that we were able to get into that meeting. Brian told me that they also have tried for a "little" signing tour in Germany, but it failed. (TOO BAD!!!)
When I was standing nearly at the front of the queue I made a joke about Brian. Bruce heard that and said that I should behave or he would do something really bad. Then he said.. if I don’t behave he would force me to go to
the Fedcon…. (AAAAAAAHHHHH) So I told him that I just have been there last year and so I told him.. Okay, don't worry, I WILL BEHAVE! I said that Jerry Doyle is going to be at the Fedcon this year. Brian told me that it
isn’t really sure that Jerry will go to the Fedcon because of the congress thing is around that time…
When it was my turn to get the book signed Bruce looked up at me and said that he has some kind of deja vu. And I
said, yeah.. something like that. At the Sheffield signing were about 75 - 100 people. After the Signing we went back to my car and drove back to Nottingham to spend another night at Grete’s house.
